This is November?
The weather has been so beautiful here! It was up in the 80s today. I was driving to the beach when Christmas music came in the radio.

Dark Water to Match My Mood
I went to a friends Birthday celebration at Salt Creek yesterday. It was a hot beautiful day, but it cooled down significantly after about 4:00. The water changed colors. It was beautiful blue green. It turned to gray as the temperature went down. It was a very strange thing to watch. The sea is such a fascinating thing to me. I am learning so much from it. It is strange to think that one day it won't be on the Earth anymore.
I have been sad for the past few days. Everything is hard right now. Work is hard, things at my house are hard, relationships with friends is hard, being away from my family is hard. I'm not sure how much of this I can really handle. I really miss my sisters. I really miss my friends. I miss familiarity. If this dark cloud doesn't end soon I may have to bail. That would be a shame.

It's like the first night of Alpha every meeting
I'm a meeting planner. I always expected that it would be great fun to be a meeting planner. I did some event planning with Randy and Christine at the Vineyard. We would work our tails off and make the first night of Alpha a breeze. Well it may have looked like a breeze, BUT IT WASN'T! Now I'm doing something similar every week with a new group of people each time, and NO RANDY AND CHRISTINE! How did this happen?
Hey friends...come play...lets put people at table according to weight and height.

I Feel SO Much Better
Last weekend was bad. I had to go to the ER. They thought they might want to take my appendix out. Anytime someone wants to cut out part of my body I figure it's bad news. I would really like to keep all my guts thank you!
SO....I'm feeling much better now, and I still have my appendix. A lot of prayer and a lot of rest go a long way. :)
Living in California is still great. Andrea, Jocelyn and I move in to our new home on Sunday. It should be great fun. You should come visit!!

Ummm...
Okay, I'm not a very good blogger. It has been WAY too long since the last post that I made for me to feel confident in giving this address to anyone. Ha!
But if you are reading here's what's been happening.
1) I drove a REALLY LONG way. I got in the car with all my stuff and drove to 92677. That's right. I'm sure you guessed it...Laguna Niguel, CA
2) I got a job! I work for Van Wiede Group, INC. We manage non-profit agencies. I do their event/meeting planning. It's in Laguna Hills, which is not too far from home.
3) I signed a lease! Wow...I know that makes it sound like I might be an adult, but please do not be mistaken. I am only a girl, but at the moment I am a girl with a great tan and that would be because of #4.
4) I spend as much time as possible at the beach. I spend the weekends and evenings there. My favorite thing to do is watch the sun set at Salt Creek Beach.
I am SO happy to be living in California.

Somewhat Exciting News
As most of you know, when you move you have to find two very important things that make moving oh so much easier to do.
1) A place to rest your head.
2) A place to make the dough, so you can pay for the place to rest your head.
Both of these things are essential, but not the easiest to do when you aren't there yet! The good thing, I have friends there who won't let me go homeless or hungry, so I'm not too worried about it. I will be a bit happier when I have both of these things nailed down.
Today I got good news. Some friends of mine are moving out of their apartment, so it will be available soon. It is in Dana Point, is a darn good price, and is month to month rent! I would be happy to secure #1 on the list, but I don't feel so confident in doing it until I have #2 secured. I guess that's not going to be an option tonight, and I need to move pretty fast if I'm going to take care of #1 right now. If God supernaturally gives me the cash for the first month and deposit then I'll count it a done deal.
So that's my somewhat exciting news for today.

Moving Stinks! (sometimes)
Right now I'm in the process of moving. I'm heading as far west as possible without jumping in the Pacific Ocean, but I will be able to jump into it as much as a darn well please. In less than a month I'll be calling southern California home. Yipee!
Well yipee would be nice, but unfortunately yipee is not always the sentiment. Right now I'm in the process of getting my resume polished and finding a job. One minute I'm like..I rock! I'm going to find a great paying job because I ROCK! The next I think....This sucks! I'm like 14. What the heck am I doing? I'm not qualified for any of these jobs!
So at the moment moving stinks, but just give me a few. :)
